ELEMENTS OF ART: LINE

Lines are marks that span a distance between two points.
A line is a mark made by using a drawing tool or brush. A line has width, direction and length. A lines width is called its' thickness.
A line can be expressive. Some lines can be seen and some can be hidden but can be seen in the way the artist arranges the objects in a painting.
